St Anthony’s is a thriving, busy Catholic primary school at the heart of a well-established Parish community in Fulwood, Preston.
We believe in a curriculum that meets the needs of individuals that enjoy a range of activities, therefore we ensure, through valuing every subject taught, that we find lots of gifts and talents that the children have and then celebrate them.
Our ethos is based on the teachings of Christ through the Gospel values. Your children will feel valued for their unique talents and leave the school well prepared for later life and ready to take on new challenges.
I look forward to meeting you and to working with you to ensure that your children are given the very best foundations for learning and for life.

Headteacher
Our strong community of staff, parents, carers and the parish community work together to provide a safe, welcoming Christian atmosphere where all children can succeed by learning in His footsteps, serving in His footsteps and walking in His footsteps.
As our school mission statement says, “We walk in Jesus’ footsteps”, we ensure that whilst children are attending St. Anthony’s, we provide them with the opportunities to be like Jesus through daily acts and charitable work.
St. Anthony’s Catholic Primary School in Preston was founded in 1956. It was originally an independent school serving St. Anthony’s Church, but later became a Voluntary Aided school.
Our curriculum embraces a wide range of learning opportunities; it includes the statutory legal
requirements of the New National Curriculum 2014 in addition to the school’s ‘hidden’
curriculum, which reflects the school’s values, whilst promoting personal growth and
enriching the experiences of children.
